George Michael Makes Long-Awaited Return to Philadelphia to Perform Live at Wachovia Center July 26
After performing 80 shows in 12 European countries for a staggering 1.3 million fans over the past year alone, legendary superstar George Michael will bring his smash 25 LIVE tour to the Wachovia Center on Saturday, July 26.
Tickets at $48, $68, $88, $128 & $253 will go on sale on Monday, April 7 at 10 a.m. exclusively through ComcastTIX at ComcastTIX.com, 1-800-298-4200, the Wachovia Complex Box Office, select ACME locations, and the Virtua Health Flyers Skate Zone at Voorhees.
Michael is making his American acting debut on the new ABC-TV hit series, 'Eli Stone,' on Thursday, March 27 at 10 p.m.
The new record, a 29-song, two-CD set entitled, Twenty-Five, will be released on April 1, featuring several new songs with superstars Paul McCartney and Mary J. Blige, plus many of Michael's iconic songs from his solo and WHAM! career. In addition, a companion two-disc DVD of 40 videos will also be made available.
The 25 LIVE tour broke several ticket-sales records, most notably in Copenhagen. Michael's concert at The Parken Stadium sold over 50,000 tickets in the matter of minutes, shattering the previous ticket sales record at the venue, formerly held by U2.
